It’s a big month for Microsoft fanatics. Not only is the Xbox One hitting store shelves on Nov. 22, but Nokia’s first Windows RT Lumia-branded tablet will also become available that day starting at $399.99.
AT&T is selling the Lumia 2520 for that price with a two-year carrier contract. If you decide to purchase the Lumia 925, Lumia 1020 or Lumia 1520 smartphone, however, you can buy the tablet for $199.99 on contract as a bundle. The 6-inch Lumia 1520, which is the first phablet to join the Windows Phone lineup, also debuts in Nov. 22.
The Lumia 2520 comes with a 10.1-inch 1080p display and will be available in black when it launches with AT&T. Buyers will get Microsoft Office and Outlook built in, which could pair nicely with the $149.99 Nokia Power Keyboard for use as a productivity device. The slate looks awfully similar to Microsoft’s recently launched Surface 2 when coupled with its keyboard. Other Lumia 2520 specs include a 6.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 32GB of internal memory and an 8,000-mAh battery.
Nokia unveiled the Lumia 2520 alongside the Lumia 1525 at its event in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22. Rumors and leaks suggest the slate will launch on Verizon’s network as well, although no announcements have been made just yet.
