5 Website Development Tips To Boost Your Business Growth Exponentially

If you’re still not convinced HTC is on track to release a phablet-sized version of the One, a new report may finally convince you. The HTC One Max has passed through China’s TENAA, the equivalent of our FCC, revealing some details about the phone’s hardware.

According to the filing, the HTC One Max will come with a 6-inch 1920 x 1080 TFT capacitive touch screen display and will launch in silver.  In terms of size it will measure at 6.4 x 3.2 x 0.4 inches, as compared to the 5.4 x 2.7 x 0.36-inch HTC One.

However, HTC’s phablet-sized flagship is likely to weigh down your pockets. At 7.6 ounces, the One Max is significantly heavier than the  5-ounce One and even outweighs the 5.9-ounce, 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This leads us to believe that the One Max could come with an all-aluminum body like the standard sized One. The One Mini, by contrast, forgoes the original One’s aluminum edges in favor of lighter polycarbonate. The images embedded in the filing also seem to confirm that the One Max will come with a fingerprint scanner, since a small square is visible just under the camera.

At the same time, what is believed to be the iconography for the One Max’s fingerprint scanner has also made it way online. The images, which turned up on the Chinese social forum Weibo, appear to be from a user manual and suggest that more than one finger can be enrolled. These leaked images also show the fingerprint scanner below the camera on the back, lining up with images posted in TENAA.

HTC is expected to unveil its One Max on Oct. 15, so we’ll have to wait until next week to see if these leaks prove accurate.
