After months of rumors, it’s finally official: Google has unveiled the Nexus 5. The LG-crafted device is available unlocked without a contract in the Google Play store beginning today for $349. The 32GB variant is selling for $399.

Google’s new flagship features a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 full HD display and supports 4G LTE connectivity, unlike its Nexus 4 predecessor. It’s powered by a 2.3-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and features a 450 MHz Adreno 330 graphics chip. The Nexus 5 will come with the newest version of Android dubbed 4.4 KitKat right out of the box, and features built-in wireless charging. There’s a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear shooter as well.

True to the leaks, the Nexus 5 borrows design cues from its larger Nexus 7 older sibling. It sports slimmer, barely visible side bezels and a clean black rear with the Nexus branding across it, unlike the sparkly rear shell found on the previous model.

It’s available in both black and white, and will land on Sprint’s network on Nov. 8 for $149.99 on a two year contract with unlimited data. Google also promises that the Nexus 5 will be available through T-Mobile, Amazon, Best Buy and RadioShack in the near future.
